Provide & Serve Dinner
Your small group can serve a meal of your choice that has been prepared off-site from our kitchen in The Gathering Place. Dinner is served nightly at 6:00 PM. All meals are served cafeteria style. We provide trays, plates, cups, silverware and napkins.
Sort & Organize Donations
Help us keep our supply closets and clothing boutique stocked and organized.
Serve as a Mentor
Are you interested in walking beside one of our guests through compassion-based mentorship where she is in the driver’s seat? Whether you feel comfortable sharing life skills, parenting advice, emotional support, or just know you have a listening ear, sign up and step actively and intentionally into the life of one of our guests. Our hope is that you both learn and grow together through your relationship with one another. Compassion-based mentorship training will be provided and required prior to being selected by one of our guests as a mentor.
Kids' Activity Room
Do you love working with children of all ages? We are looking for individuals over the age of 18 to play games, read books, and make crafts with our youngest guests at LightHouse during the hours of 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM on weekdays.
Building Maintenance
Help us keep the building beautiful inside and out by assisting our staff with tasks like cleaning and pulling weeds.
Special Events
Share Life Skills
Brighten the lives of our guests by hosting a game night, movie party, arts & crafts project, monthly children’s birthday party or other special events.
If you have a life skill that you would like to share with our guests, please let us know. Women staying at LightHouse are interested in learning about Health & Wellness, Resume Writing, Financial Literacy & Budgeting, etc.
