Transitional Housing for Guests

hope-house-photo.jpg

Individuals who thrive in our onsite residential programs often struggle to find affordable housing options for independent living. HopeHouses located throughout Berks County give our main campus residents the opportunity to stay connected to our supportive community while residing in private apartments or group homes. Each HopeHouse is adopted by a sponsor church to engage residents and serve the surrounding neighborhood.

We’re beyond excited to share that renovations at HopeHouse were officially completed in February, and 13 men have since made the transition from our main campus to HopeHouse!

A huge thank you to Reading Eagle for covering the renovations and for spotlighting Navy veteran William “Chris” Price’s move into HopeHouse.

“It’s absolutely fitting that Hope Rescue Mission and Hope House have the word ‘hope’ as the beginning of their title,” said Price. “It’s a place of hope.”
